HOW TO BE A MESS AND STILL BE HAPPY.

This page contains the recordings of meditation practices from the meditation day held on Friday the 20th September 2024 in the chapel of the Royal Northern Infirmary, Inverness. The meditations are presented in the order in which they were guided during the day. The theme of the day was about learning to be with the “mess” of thoughts, feelings and emotions that go with being human – not rejecting or repressing them but being able to observe them without engaging with them.

Practice 1 – How to live with my body.

Practice 2 – Breathing out negativity.

Practice 3 – Self-compassion/safe space meditation.

Practice 4 – Forgiveness practice.

Practice 5 – Meeting difficulties with an open mind.

Practice 6 – Living life with ease and compassion.

If, after listening to these meditation practices, you require support or have any questions that you would like to discuss with one of our facilitators, please contact us by email on highlandmindfulness@gmail.com and we will arrange to speak with you.
